#3no point in the Etec strut brace so dont worry if it doesnt fit.
Theyre flims style braces -
#4Thank you for the clever reply, but i didn't want to fit it to take it off again as i want to have it sprayed a diff colour to fit it again when sprayed especially since i don't have lots of time and someone ready and waiting to paint it if need be!
I get what your saying bud, in all honesty its just to tart up the engine bay as i wanted to go for a black and orange theme more than any actual need for one with a track etc -
#5Its not like it takes alot to try
6 13mm nuts to undo then drop it over the studs.
Would take all of five minutes to try -
#6Work 6 till 6 all week, weekends been working till 6 Thu am at coll till 8. So by time i get home its dark so was easier to post a quick question.Quote:Its not like it takes alot to try

Failing this i will try it eventually when i get chance if not one is running this. If thats ok with you? -
#7I've got JP4 covers and my OMP brace just about touches, The e-tech one is flimsy as hell so would probably touch too.
-
#8Thanks for the input bud, you think it would be ok to be fitted and left on? I cant think of any reasons why not other than abit of engine movement?
-
#9Should be, but i would try to put something in between the places where it might catch to lessen any contact.
Say like if you go over a bump you don't want it to raise up then smash down on the covers. -
#11Maybe tape some sponge to the underside of the brace to cushion it?
To move mine out of contact i've got some strut strengthening plates to raise it up a little. -
#13Got mine from someone on here but found these, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peugeot-106-Sa...b78f07fe09c8da
Don't know if these will move it enough for the e-tech tho, Think you just need to trial fit and check clearance. -
#14Thanks bud, ill look into getting a set of theseQuote:Got mine from someone on here but found these, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peugeot-106-Sa...b78f07fe09c8da
