No, you cannot park on any public highway without an current MOT.

if it aint tested taxed and insured it shouldnt be on the road....

if its secure they shouldnt fail it

Shouldnt fail for it not hanging correctly, aslong as it isnt leaking. If its not straight it might cause the joins to not be sealed.

It is taxed nd insured just runs of a mot until tomorrow touchwood

as long as it isnt blowing at the joints or any where and its secure you should pass ok.

you have until the end of the date on the MOT certificate mate so if it runs out on the 5th october you have MOT until 6th..... should state on the certificate....

Well your allowed to drive a car on a public road with no MOT to and from an mot... if pc plod knocked at your door about it then you could just explain its going back tomorrow, you should be ok, unless you get a jobsworth.

Yes you are correct, you can drive back and forth to a test centre with no MOT. The problem is today, obviously depending on where you live, traffic police cars are fitted with ANPR and it does not care what you are doing. We do a lot of work for car dealers and a couple of them have had cars clamped when they have been moving them around on the forecourt and have left one parked on the road.

As you say, it depends on jobsworth at the time - traffic cops are the worst!!!
