Important! : Wont rev or idle!

   Hi i wonder if anyone can shed any light on an issue im having with my 99 VTS. The car has suddenly stopped idleing and when i have revved the car after it has started will take a while for the revs to pick up and if i take my foot off the throttle the engine dies and can take a good few seconds of turning it over for it to re start. Please help driving me mad!

   could be the ICV try giving it a clean there is a thread on here on how to clean it i think

   sounds abit more serious icv would be more of an eratic idele not stopping it from starting has there been any previous issues of cutting out ? temp all ok usually ?

   i wouldnt count on that being your problem but a good start i guess
