Gearbox

   My gearbox is really sloppy and like clunking into every gear and in other words sounds broke but garage says its fine im wondering is there a gearbox that would suite a VTR thats more or less smooth or just alot better or if theres a way to solve this problem... Thanx

   Is it possible that the linkages and/or components are just worn and that your clutch just doesn't need adjusting????
   
   Regardless of what the garage says, if you have noticed that the box has got clunky then something is amiss (not necessarily a broken box). I would hope the garage has suggested that there may be a something else causing the clunkiness if they deem that the box is fine.
   
   Would be a shame to go through all the hassle of changing a box and it is not necessary.

   i know mate thats what i want to avoid i want a good gear box obviously but dont really want to replace it.

   My gear box makes a kind of a creak when i change gear brought it to a mechanic he said it's fine aswell but doesn't feel right.
