   Get some pictures up.
   
   Standard saxo alloys and lower the suspension ride height, would be my start, without looking.

   Vt kit on it if you havn't already, vtr wheels, lowering, de - wiper, t-cut badges

   English reg in louth dye not have to get that changed ? defo needs a VT kit and a set of vtr alloys also mesh the grill and get it lowered IMO.

   Dont put a vt kit on it, you'll forever be living a lie.
   Lower it as much as you dare (id go at least 50mm) and stick some nice wheels on. Black vts wheels or something. Then add a few nice touches, dewiper, smoked jewels, smoked headlights ect.

    Not really could start with the ouside then put an r/s under the bonnet

    Tbf i think only the ph1 suits the 1.1 standard kit. And imo looks better. But the VTR kit does look better on the ph2 saxo. Do it. Dont change the lights. Standard all the way otherwise your a chav
