better brakes...

   this might be a newbie question, but ive bin looking thru the threads and cant seem to find my answer. are there any brake kits i.e 306, 106 gti, etc that will fit straight onto my 2000 vtr.( bigger disks and calipers).gonna go ropund scrapyards etc, just need to know make and model.cheers

   Try Pug 306 Gti brakes and Pug 406 coupe brakes (Brembo type)
   there normally what most people use i think.

   they dont fit behind standard alloys tho.

   Have a look for Berlingo/Partner vans, 306 xsi, xsaras.
   
   I got a set of 266mm (Lucas) for my vts and they are far better than standard brakes and I am currently using cheap pads from Halfords and cheapo discs.
