which exhaust to order ??????????

   Need to order a full system for my vts track car.
   
   options are :
   
   Supersprint 2" race system with center box
   
   Saxsport manifold back
   
   Kam system with center box
   
   
   I need one that is not overloud ...
   
   What do you reckon ...

   Get the 2" Supersprint race system with a straight through pipe then upgrade it with a 4-2-1 manifold, will sound the utter sex and it aint too loud when on trackdays .

   My choice would be a magnex (im selling mine)
   
   but im buying the oval piper backbox next

    I would say out of what is listed above the quietest combination is going to be the supersprint centre pipe with silencer and our backbox. The Saxsport has only one silencer and the supersprint backbox is a smaller 6" diameter.

    My supersprint
    
    2inch exit backbox
    straight through centre
    standard manifold
    standard cat
    
    92db at 5k rpm iirc tested at croft. Wasn't that loud at all day to day in the car. On my youtube channel you'll get an idea of what it sounds like, Rons red saxo is on there which was cammed with the piper version with the extra centre silencer.

    The standard cat will act like a silencer which is why even though the exhaust is a straight through system its relatively quiet.

    I cannot say for definite. We've never tested it. We dont have the garage facilities to fit and test. Maybe high 80's if I had to guess.

    The milltek is about a 2.25" bore or bigger (it's the sane as the BTB)
    
    balancemotorsport or cituning sell them, but if you go on milltek website there is a dealers list, and will list the closest performance shops near you that are authorised sellers, they sound better than any other system I've seen, and resonated system is allot quieter, but not restrictive as it's all controlled by the volume of air in the backbox

    yep which is why i left it in, and to keep the emissiosn down. Plus imo always good to have at least one box in the exhaust system.

    My supersprint 'race' system on a VTR was 102db tested at Anglesey at 4400rpm. The day was supposed to be 98db but managed to get on fine, there were many cars louder than mine.
    
    I would definitely got for a silenced centre section if you want to 'pass' db tests without any problems. Some tracks are twats for noise testing!

    i'd go for piper, ive only got a back box atm, not stupidly noisy unless you put your foot down so u wont sound like a chav go for stainless tho
