3 door model door handles

   my door is rubbish when i pull the handle nothing happens unless i proper yank it open. is there a way to fix this as im scared the handle is gonna snap off or something

   Does the door need a good slam to close it??? If the striker plate (bit attached to the body that lock pawl engages) has moved inward toward the car you will need more effort to open the door.
   
   The striker is held by 2off Torx screws. I would loosen them and adjust it by moving it to the outside of the car and see what happens.
