Important! : Rusty alloy bolts, how to get rid?

   My alloy bolts are rusty, anyone know how to get rid of the rust? dont fancy forking more money to buy new ones

   sand paper then hamerite them?

   i want to do 'de-rust' them then do them black so they'll stand out on my alloys

   bottle of zink fostfate treatment!. get a bottle of the stuff from a decent paint suppliers then fill a bowl with the stuff WEAR GLOVES!!! and put your bolts in and leave for 15 mins then remove and rince with COLD water and you will be left with rust free but black wheel bolts did mine like 6 months ago and there still rust free or alternatively get them anodised for a quid a bolt will last forever..
