Swap engine...

   Regards ... The situation is this: I had a car accident and the car was completely destroyed. The engine remained intact ... It is a 1.5 D engine from 2002.
   I wonder if my engine fits in the other car ... Peugeot, Citroen AX, or maybe other? Thanks ...

   106 and Saxo 1.5 diesels, not sure if any AXs had the 1.5. maybe the 1.5 would also fit the 1.4 engined cars?

   I found 1,4 106 for little money and I wonder if will fit... anybody know?

   Swapping an engine from a diesel to a petrol isnt an easy or quick job.
   Fuel lines. Tank, wireing loom etc all have to be changd over to suit in the bay.
   Then speedo binnacle will be different as well.
   Much easier to either find the exact spec of car you want.
