Important! : steering wheel

   i just took my old steering wheel off to change my dial leds and fit a new wheel and i broke something im not sure if its just something for the air bag or more important and can i drive with out it?
   
   
   
   the side of the round thing has broke and the copper wire has snapped

   Is the wire still intact ?? Is it just the plastic bit that has come off ?

   its the airbag ring, so u can drive without it. but wouldn;t put airbag on while its off. also has indicator canceler on too.
   best off popping to scrappy or replacing with after market wheel
