VTR To Vts Conversion Info?

   Rite bought a VTR with S engine 2 days ago n got a few questions
   
   can u buy caliper seal repair kits?
   
   First up 2 nakerd driveshafts
   
   
   
   No problem to fix, problem is are the vtr vts driveshafts the same?
   how do i know if they are vtr or vts?
   and do vtr fit vts box and otherway round???
   
   Next up Fan Swith?
   
   
   boy said fan goes on and off itself but theres also a switch too keep it constantly on?
   hmmmmmmm whats the point in that if it is true?
   
   and what is this behind the passenger side headlight?
   
   
   any help would be great

   to start from the last the gray box u got behind the headlight is supposed to be cliped on the steering pump and is a realy 4 the power steering
   the fann switch well i cant think of anouther reason why except that the switch to keep it constant is that when u trash the saxo thay run hot so the fan on constant keeps it cool
   the differance between a vts and a vtr drive shaft is i think only the abs ring they do fit each outher cos put a vtr box in my vts useing the vts shafts so im dead sertan thay will fit

   oh yes u can get caliper repair seals useally people steer away from them just as cheep to get a caliper from the breakers

   VTR/S driveshafts fit in any gearbox. It's the other end that you need to make sure is right, Tapered and non tapered.
   
   Need to make sure if you have tapered bearings, you need tapered shafts.
   
   And vice versa.

   cheers mate so just take the shaft out check if taperd then get a vtr/s taperd shaft and vice versa

   They are VTS driveshafts and struts by the looks of it - shafts have the ABS pickups on them.

    Was an optional extra from the factory - vast majority of VTRs don't have it though. If your car is a VTR with ABS, it'll probably use the same driveshafts as the VTS.
    
    Looks like the ABS sensors have had the wires chopped off, so I'd guess they had a VTS donor and swapped the bits from that onto your VTR.
