when applying brake sometimes fog light on dash comes on?

   hi all,
   
   noticed last night that when i apply my brake, on the odd occasion i get the red fog light (not the 1st click when you put fog lights on the second one where the rear fog light comes on) appear on my dash, the sign is quite hard to notice as its very faint.
   
   Any ideas?

   dodgy earth somewhere? sounds like its on the boards in the lights, get someone to press the brake for you and check to see if the foglights coming on too
