    hi, im sorting my car out for a full respray but was wondering how much paint was?
    i see a few people on here do bodywork and give out prices of the top of there head


    im doing all the prep work myself and priming as i go as some bits are plastic bla bla

    so i was looking at a rough price for a full car:
    gold paint, what ever the code is for the saxo
    hardner ect

    dont need hardner for paint, as its "base coat"

    price depends if you wont cellulose or water based?

    water base we use at work is about 75quid a liter then thin it down with 10% water, and we get about 25% discount on tht.

    cellulose paint is about 45quid a liter, i would imagaine you will be using that? you think it down 2:1 aswell so 1 liter of paint mixed with thinner = 1.5liters mixed, give me a pm if u wont and could see what i can do u and post it you down,


    you will all so need slear coat on top of the paint

    o yer out of intrest, tell meyour prosses from "car" to primed? wt sand paper used? and what kinda primer? and gun or cans?
