    I need to try a 3 plug vts ecu on my saxo as im running the 16v engine on the 1.4 ecu still! just need to try a actual 16v ecu to see if it runs alot smoother and got alot more power as it sometimes start and runs like a bad and it has no go in first gear you physically can not get it to spin..... i live in norwich.

    Lol of course it will run better with a vts ecu. I'm surprised it runs at all like it is. Gear selection will be either the linkages or more likely the cable adjustment

    OMG, what are you thinking mate !

    Bang the right ecu on it soon as possible. Will be loads better - Citroen will have spent thousands developing the right map for that engine.

    might lock some1 elses ecu

    and the gearbox comment above, he hasnt said you cant get it in gear, he said the car has no go once its in 1st. as in no power.

    Have you tried Cit-ren on Norwich Road, Brooke, about 10 minute drive from Norwich city center? They've got thousands of VTR/S bits they're really helpfull.

    Yep iv tried citren but they havnt even got a 3 plug vtr ecu. It shouldnt lock anybody elses ecu because the black box is gone.... its not even got a chipped key anymore. Iv got a 3 plug vts ecu but it wont work, the car will fire once then turn over and over.
