idle actuator valve

  1. #1
do i need to take off the inlet manifold to get to this
  2. #2
    anyone???
  3. #3
Normally you do not have to remove the manifold as the IAC valve controls the airflow well before getting into the manifold.
  4. #4
do you mean the idle control valve, the small sensor at the rear of the throttle body??

if so disconnect the throttle cable, un-clip the 4 sensor plugs, 2 at the rear, 1 at the front and a grey one underneath,
then i think there is 3 torx screw (T25 i think) holding the throttle body on. undo them and remove them..

once off there are 2 torx screw golding the ICV on, simply undo and remove it

no the idle actuator valve under the inlet mani if you look in the haynes you will see it round cylinder
