Was just wondering if there are chips on the market for a vtr. My mate got a piggy back chip for his rover brm and its made quite a noticble power gain. Not to sure if people do it or if its worth it??

#3Fair enough. They that bad. I just want a tiny bit more power. Do alot of night time country road driving and it doesnt quite have enough power to be spot on.

#4Ummmm those sort of chips make no difference to power.
How Ebay let people sell them claiming 40bhp difference is beyond me
If a chip could give you ++bhp then people on here wouldn't have spend thousands on uprated cams and turbochargers -
#5Get a 1.1 gearbox and a full system... wont get bored of that

#6Raceland induction kit + Supersprint race system + 4-2-1 manifold.
Will give you a little extra power and responsivness, sounds like what you are after. Avoid "chips" tbh mate -
#8lol perfect for where I live in MK as its short blast roundabout to roundabout. Shame I go track too which means it would be no good for that.

#9Ive got a system and decat. Also got a racelaned enclosed on. Im on the hunt for a cheap 421 at the moment. Are 1.1 gearbox's strong??
