Sanding windows?

rite you know when you timt windows on the saxos you get the bubbledots around the outside because of the black etching on the glass?

i think i heard someone say you can sand them off then tint them to get rid of this?

anyone want to back this up and if so what to do?

    cheers

i think he means the rear 1/4s, where there is a black section around the window it self, which when tinted leaves tint, a line and then the black part. more interested in the line rather than bubbles itself. ?

i would imagine you could sand it down tbh, but i dont know what would happen if you went too coarse and got the glass...

pretty sure i;ve read somewhere on here a few tinters have scrapped the black dots off with stanley blade.
but way i did mine was to cut tint off short just after bubbles and it seems to release the air better so hasn;t done that bubbled look your on about

i wouldnt sand them, it'll leave marks that will show through mate. contact your local tinting place if your in doubt if it will work, they will be able to tell you what is best to do, saves you wrecking a set of windows or the tint!
