leak found. now what

   done some research on some oldskool guides about leaks on here and found that water could be getting under my driver footwell carpet via the pollen filter or the small nut with rubber ring next to it.
   i siliconed up the rubber ring around the nut so nothings gettin in there lol
   just wondering if they make like a cover for the pollen filter or if this is just one of citroens fuck ups that just cant be fixed?

   saxos have no pollen filter, do you mean the heater intake

   iirc the body is shaped with a lip to stop water in the scuttle just running into the heater intake (through that weird mesh thing-I wonder if its to stop insects or something lol).

   Can be the pollen filter its located under the wiper scuttle.
   
   Says pollen filter in Haynes...

   yeah mate its like right near the wiper motor
   i dont know what to do lol
   i have dried out all unde the carpet and theres not reall alot i can do
   just park differently i guess unless any one has any ideas

   ow btw its most likely to be from the sunroof as the sunroof has draining tubes that go inside the car and when these get blocked there a leak formed inside somehow and it comes in the passengers foot well, i would advise to check it and blow it out that's what i did and it hasn't leaked since.

   its not from the sunroof mate when i got my wishbones replaced i had the mechanic look there and search them all out because he said that might be the case
   its deffinetly from the pollen filter place after some tests lol

   Here is a tip for find those sometimes untraceable leaks. Pull the carpets back and lightly dust the exposed vertical panels. Get some talc or more ideally 'fullers earth' and dust all the surfaces then refit the carpets.
   
   Any water runs will leave a trace in the powder so in theory just go up from there. We have used this method for a number of years now and it works well, often finding leaks where others have failed!
