Front passenger wheel wobbling and other problem

   Had my car up on a jack today and went round checking the wheels and suspension, got to the front wheel on the passenger side and it seems a bit wobbly when i tried wobbling the wheel. What could this problem be??
   Also everytime i either change gear or accelerate a bit more in the car it makes a sorta creekin noise like metal on metal (sorry its quite hard to explain). Any ideas please? Would b much appreciated.

   Have had my mate check it and he said ita definately not a bearing... He said it could b tie rod assembly... I dont understan it lol!! Any more ppl got any ideas? I will keep a bearing in mind

   The creaking could be the exhaust joint where at the cat/downpipe connection....the one where the clamp is that has the springs. It is a common problem. Pull the handbrake and keep letting the clutch out quickly to jerk the engine and exhaust. If it is the joint it will creak!
   
   If you grab the wheel top and bottom and rock it and it moves then it is bearing play usually. If you grab it left and right and it rocks it is normally steering related ie ball joints.
