V reg ecu & wiring loom fit S reg engine?

   hi guys ive just bought a s reg 106 gti engine, it doesnt come with ecu or loom but ive found a wiring loom and unlocked ecu off of a V reg gti, will this fit the S reg engine? cheers Lee

   it will but may not plug into your interior loom, will probs ned hard wiring in

   the S reg looms are single plugs and this ecu and loom from the V reg is a single plug too? so surely they will fit?

   probably both single plug looms. if the main connector is the same size as the one on your car you wont have any problems.

   well im buying the engine and the loom to convert my S1 to a 16v so i know the loom needs modifying a bit just wondering if the plugs will all fit correctly to the sensors lol

   If it's anything like saxos then yeah the sensors should match the loom. Sensors changed when they put the 3 plug ecu on
