It's nothing to worry about - I think it's just the radio noise supressor

I'd look to get one from the scrappy, cut it off half way along the wire, and solder the complete one on.
A good solder technique and heatshrink and it'll be fine

Mine broke same thing, car wouldnt start at all. I think its something to do with the earth on the coilpack.

It's not the earth for coil pack it is a noise supressor. It stops the radio picking up interference from alternator and spark plugs basically. Without it you might hear a whining or crackling that increases pitch with engine speed.

I went for months without one.
Could just hear a slight whine through the stereo.
