Driveshaft problem

   I've bought a new drifeshaft for my saxo vtr mk2 from my local scrap dealer who specialises in vtr's. The driveshaft he gave me is a vtr driveshaft however the splines on the hub definately don't match. Can anyone give me some ideas to what it could be. I've had saxo brakes on the hub so i cant see what it could be?!!! i can send anyone pics of my old shaft

   Does the shaft fit the gearbox end ?

   believe you may have got the taperred ends rather than the flat end. or vise versa.

   What reg is your car and what reg was the car this new shaft came from?

   Does it have shorter splines ?
