Im aware alot of people run adjustable ball jointed/rose jointed gear linkages, and (like myself) some may overlook what the proper length of each rod should be.
If the rod is not the correct length, it could cause bad engagement and at the end of the day, a broken synchro!
So lengths are as follows, taken from a Haynes:
Short x 2 = 186mm centre to centre.
Long x 1 = 331mm centre to centre.
The linkages may come to you close to these measurements, but its worth double checking with a vernier the lengths!
Another note, when using these try not to "ram" it in gear, there is no cushion on the rods therefore if you fluff a gear change, again could do some damage.
