Wheel play,changed bearing and still play.

   front struts vts
   
   i changed front wheel bearing which was literally in pieces.
   to a brand new one
   
   fitted it all together hub nut etc tight.
   and put wheel back on
   and there is still play?
   
   What is it?
   
   when taking the strut off
   the shaft did come out a little by accident.
   so leaked a tad of oil.
   but since i put shaft in and did 10 miles with no oil leakage.
   
   but there is a slight gap between shaft and box.
   
   (passengers side btw)

   How much play? Could be top mount or wishbone

   what model year is it? if its 1999 the driveshaft and bearing combo changed and if you get the wrong mix then the driveshaft doesnt meet up properly with the bearing

   how hard was he new bearing to push in if the bearing was that bad may have damaged the hub
