   Hi everyone...well ive had a few saxos now, and all have had this little white thing that comes from the tank and then sits on the fuel tank (outside not in) just infront of the rear axle.....what the hell is it for? and is it important? lol
   
   Pic below is just a picture i found on line, this thingy on my saxo is the white thing on the end of the pipe comming off the green bit lol...

   something to do with it venting? so its not a vacuum?

   possible its to release pressure from the tank when it gets warm if it didnt have some thing to release pressure it would go egg shaped like a petrol can would if left in the boot with fuel in.

   Its a fuel tank, joking aside, its to vent the pressue build up, usually piped from the carbon canistor.

   on my old saxo it rattled. was very annoying going over bumps
