#4it is quite tricky if you have never done it before
basic tool required:
stanley blades
small spike to push through the bonding
two window handles (ebay) or small blocks of wood you can get a good grip of
and most importantly cheese wire
remove the window trim so that you see the edge of the glass the full way round
push the spike through the bonding
feed a small length of cheesewire through about 18-24 inches
put the wire through the pins in your handles and push into place to lock it, or secure it on your blocks e.g wrap and tie it,
hold one handle and pull the other downand it should cut cleanly through (be careful not to damage the paint) if you find a tough spot use a sawing motion,
cut round the whole window and lift out, clean all the old sealant off of the metal with a stanley blade
apply a good consistent bead of bonding around your new windscreen and put your new window into place ensuring the gap is even, and give a firm press to ensure a full seal but not so hard you push all the sealant out
a good tip is to put one of your windows down so when you shut the door the pressure doesnt push the windscreen out causing leaks, dependent on what bonding you use you should be able to leak test after around an hour before re-fitting your trim -
#5pay to get it done if you never done it before you will mess it up no doubt about it the glass guys make it look easy and its one of the hardest things to do rite on the car the windscreen is something like 50% of the cars roof strengh mess it up and you know about it.

#6+1 i would not do it myself

#7bedford and tom i totally agree with you,
if you've never done it theres a very high chance you will make a mistake and if it is not bonded correctly it can affect structure -
#8I got it right the 3rd time round!
