VTS head gaskets

   Hi folks,
   I've just bought a new head gasket for my VTS and it looks different to my existing one as well as all the ones I've seen in pictures on Sax-P.
   
   Every one I've seen so far, including my old one, is all black, the one I've just bought is made by CORTECO MEILLOR (from GSF) and is made from three layers of silver coloured metal - the question is, is this better or worse than the black type?

   i think there an new tripple layer design like the rovers have been doin mate, aslong as all the oil an water ports are in the same place dont worry

   Its a steel one, The head gasket i put on my vts was black and had 3 or 4 sheets of metal and was fairly thick. As said above if all the oil and water channels are clear through the gasket just fit it....

   just make sure it's put in the right way up - seen a few put in upside down...

   It should have abit where it say up, i nearly put mine the wrong way up.... like a goon lol. common sense really if your paying attention in which i wasnt at the time due to wanting it done, more time makes it a better job with no mistakes.
