Front Hub!!

   Bassically one of my wheel bolts will only go in one of the holes about two threads i was just wandering whether (the part highlighted in the picture can be removed?? and can the holes be re tapped??

   It can be removed by pulling it out with a press (garage job) or a skillfully applied mash hammer and drift. The holes could be re tapped but if they are to far gone replacement is best for safety.

   The strut is relatively easy to remove but if you punch hub from the strut you will need a new wheel bearing, and to fit this you need a hydraulic press.
   
   Get a haynes, its all in there.
