need a bit of help please

    hi all, right having a bit of a dilemma. I brought a saxo east coast but someone has started fitting a vtr lump with the 1.1 box. Only problem is they put the ecu on but failed to add the immboiliser box from the vtr on too. I have just brought a new ecu with the same part number as the old ecu and came with the immboiliser box etc but is from a peugeot 306 1.6 8v, so now the the immboiliser light on dash as gone out, but the fuel pump is not priming (but didnt do it with old ecu) so put a constant live from ignition just to see if its the wiring or pump and now it pumps the fuel around but i still have no spark. I was thinking of checking the connector coil tomorrow with volt meter and get a friend to turn it over see if im getting a voltage to the coil. Im also going to check crank sensor too. Anyone else have any ideas?????? and anyone have any ideas on fuel pump too??? Could that be dow to ignition as i had to change the wiring around when i fitted the new ignition barrel from vtr?

    Ecu is locked I think .

    But i have everything exactly how it came out of the 306 with the chip, transponder ariel, immboiliser box, and ecu all from the same car.

    the 306 had a vtr engine in with the same ecu and loom so it sounds like it might not be that. Is the interia switch connected and working ok?

    what sort of wiring changes have you done? and do you trust the seller of the loom etc? could be barrel and key from 1 car and ecu from another? sounds like ecu locked but if youve got everything it cant be

    i had to change over the connector on ignition because used to put it on second click used to turn the engine over. Well he said he changed the engine bay wiring and i believe it due to the fact that it has connectors for the front fogs or am i mistaken?

    thats what i thought the tu5jp engine?
    I have bridge it with a wire but still nothing. But apprently the vtr had a bit of a front ender is the and other cut of switches?

    just had a thought are all the crank sensors the same as i've now got the vtr clutch on the engine would i need the crank sensor of a vtr too?
