knocking from spring

   hi guys got a 52 plate vtr and im getting a knocking when stationary or driving slow, it seems to be the spring would i be right in thinking it would be the strut top?

   I get this aswell. Im pretty sure its the strut top mounts! Need to get it sorted tbh...

   check the nut that holds your damper in is tight.
   
   otherwise jack it up and try and check for any play in the suspension - you can normally see where any sort of movement is
