VTR to 106GTI engine problem

   cant get it to fuel, got spark as when i use easy start it fires but wont fire by itself. ive talked to a mate and he said i need to cut/join a few wires together anyone know which wires? its a 3 plug ecu on both engine looms

   if its 3 plug on both engine and loom then no need to cut anything.
   
   is your fuel pump working? any leaks? or is feul getting to the fuel rail???

   fuel pump is not priming or injecting, both looms where from 2001 cars with 3 plugs.
   
   the car ive got is a 2001 3 plug ecu
   the engine is from a 106 gti 3 plugg ecu
   
   the car turns over but no fuel, pump isnt priming or injecting. theres spark as it fires with easy start been put into it. the only other thing is wether or not the ecu was unlocked properly

   Connect a wire between the battery and the pin 2 on the fuel pump and see if it primes.
   If it primes it means either the immobilser is locked down, or the ECU is locked.

   It's immbolsed if the pumps not priming or running you need your ecu unlocking

   just a thought... u pressed the fuel cut off? red button up behind battery?

   Nope, if its locked the ecu will still prime. If its not youve got some other problem
