Door locks

   Need some really quick help!! How do I remove the outside door locks for smoothing?

   hi mate
   
   not 100% on this but i am doing mine this week,
   
   some one told me you have to remove your front door cards and the is three t40 srew holding it on?
   
   like i said not 100% as not done it yet, will know myself later this week if you have not managed to do it. lol

   next to the handle there will be a bolt undo that then take door card off and there will be a metal rod slip that off the lock then unclip the lock fron the inside it is hard to explain!

   I've got door cards off that metal rod of back of lock but now I'm stuck

   its held in with a little clip that slides to the side, a bit like a circlip but not quite, pull this across and it should come out

    yeh as said there will be a round kind off clip and if you pull it off it will come out!

    sweet cheers guys! just such a chore trying to get your hand in there and actually see what your doing ill have to get a torch in there and have a look for the clip in the morning!

    You wont probably see it charlie boy, you need to put your hand in and feel it and yank it, did mine easy but it hurts abit if you catch your wrist. you might need to wiggle the clip off.
