    failed my mot on this??

Brake load sensing valve linkage seized??

Take the passenger back wheel off mate and just under the arch you will see the brake linkage valve. I had the exact same on my mot fail and i sorted it myself no problem.

Soak all around the valve with wd40 and let soak and i used pliers and just worked the metal plate and eventually it loosened or try get a hammer and give it a few hits should hopefully start moving it only needs to move up and down a few cm's and thats it

Hope that helps. Just message me if you need any more help

    thanks dude
so where the bolt goes in (number 3) bash there??
so it moves up and down yea??
  4. #4
The bolt doesnt move mate. See the part where the arrow points to ? The part the 3 bolt goes through? You move that up & down its a little flat metal peice that sticks out and that moves and you just work that until it comes loose and thats you

i can move it with a set of forsips just not with my hand
can only move it about half a cm with forsips tho??

    what else could i try??

    Bumpe as above?
i can move with forsips about a cm and when i press break down it does slightly move...

is it suppose to move by your hand???
what size spanner will i need to remove brake pipes?
should i drop beam and give it a good go?
  9. #9
there is no need to remove it. i had the same prob awhile back. and as explained, just soak with wd40, leave for a bit and use some mole grips and wiggle back and fourth. this will work it loose enough so it will start working again.

ive worked it loose but i carnt move with my hands.

should i go for a drive and do some nice braking(with some weight in the back)

Soak it up and get it moving. I dont know why Peugeot/Citroen didnt cover these in some sort of box to stop them corroding.
