Airbag Light

   Rite,
   
   While driving back from work last night my air bag light started flashing for 5mins then stayed on constantly and then it did the same thing this morning. Last time this happened I'd left the sat nav charger plugged in. Could this be an issue with the battery? Any help would be appriciated.

   I wouldn't of thought so, how old is your car? Haynes states that the airbag will need replacing after 7 to ten years if i remember rightly. My two saxo's have had this problem and cleaning the orange wires under the seat can sometimes get the light to go. But dont expect your airbags to work when needed. lol.

   Check the pre-tensionners under the seat, they sometimes come loose if you have hit a pothole etc. They are the wires under the seats with the orange plugs on the end.
   
   I bottomed my saxo out and it actually unplugged the passenger side pre-tensioner lol
   
   Has it got standard seats?

   if it still not working properly check this spining thing under stearing wheel
   my one just snapt wires inside( got new one from scrapy and everythink is ok)

   mine stays on consantly
   common fault with saxos play around with tensioner underseat useally sorts it out but will just go off again so i just leave it now
   like a mini disco in my dash board

   Ha ha mines like that as well its annoying though, and you can turn it off permanently but i cant be bothered either.

   Well its now fixed itself so bugger knows what was up with it!
