I upgraded the brakes on my furio by fitting 266 lucas calipers. Along with the calipers i fitted brand new mintex discs and pads. After about 2 weeks i noticed the brakes were juddering so was told to replace the discs. Replaced the discs for another brand new set.. 2 weeks later they judder aswell. Something is obviously making them warp so quickly. When i fitted the second set of discs i was very careful bedding them in so i know it wasnt me that caused them to warp. Ive got my MOT next week so they need fixing before or it will fail on the braking. Ive just been and bought a brand new set of pads and discs but considering taking them back and fitting standard brakes back on along with new discs and pads. How can i check if the 266 calipers are seized as i know this can cause the discs to warp?? Dont want to fit the new discs and pads which just cost me £50 if they are going to warp in 2 weeks time again..

#2Theres no such thing as "warped discs" btw.Its excess pad thats stuck to the discs.
Your calipers must be sticking causing the pad to stick to the discs. -

Yeah i think its gotta be the calipers. Im not gonna mess about anymore its costing too much. Gonna go and swap the discs and pads for standard ones and put my standard calipers back on this week. -
#4Yeah its the easiest way to describe it,but its certainly not the discs that have bent as such.

#5Just been to swap them but was unsure if the standard ones on mine were vented or solid discs. Brought the vented ones but need to look it up on the net now
