Supersprint exhaust

   I've currently got the supersprint 2" backbox and was just wondering if the centre pipe will make a difference performance/sound wise?

   your main exhaust restriction is your cat in the manifold, but moving to a straight through system rather than baffled silencers will see some gains.

   performace a little bit. not sure about sound wise, mine sounds great, iv got the supersprint strate through 2" pipe/de-cat with 3" backbox, sounds and performed really well that was a jump from a gt3 exhaust system. sounds even better now as iv just bort a piper 4-1 mani. you mite aswell get the strate through 2" pipe/ mani if you want better sound and performance

   I want to de-cat but will be annoying to change the manifold every year for MOT. How hard of a job is to change the manifold?

   If you can afford it get the Janspeed with the 200 cell cat. Saves the bother..

   superb mani have one on mine pays for itself in no time, road legal and still get most of the decat sounds.
   i picked mine up cheaper by searching round well worth it in my books.
   just a pain to fit
