left hand temp gauge on vts dials

  1. #1
I was just wanting to know if someone can tell me what the left temp gauge is for on the vts dials, I thought it was to do with water/coolent temp? Anyways was also wanting to know is it normal for it to sit down the bottom even when the engines warm? Ive only seem it move once or twice in large traffic jams. And then tonight the red warning light came on and off a couple of times on the motorway even tho the gauge was still down at the bottom, as in not warm?

Any help or info if anyone understands me would be great lol

Either soak to engine temp sensor in vinegar, or buy a replacement from a motorfactors.
I had this issue recently, it will also mess up your fuel consumption as you car thinks its cold all the time.
