how much travel do you have in the pedal beofre anything happens??

do you like how the pedal feels now??

the pedal is ok, theres is an average amount of travel in the pedal, not too sure unless measured, but i would like some more 'feel' through the pedal and more accurate braking as such.

all the bigger bore mc will do is, reduce the free play in the pedal prior to anything happening and mean that to get the same braking force you need to exert less pressure on the pedal

hmmmm ok cheers for the help, i no what you mean by free play, atm i would say its roughly 10-15mm and the less pressure sounds good, end of the day if i dont like it i can always change it back, not end of the world

IMO the 23mm MC on the 266's is very marmite.

You will get a pedal that feels like mike tyson is puching back against your foot, and it will bite higher up the travel, however you lose a lot of graduation and until you get used to it, it's much more difficult to brake progressively for junctions.

The standard size for 266's is a 22mm cylinder, but they're very very difficult to find. The 23mm is over-spec so will give you more of the characteristics above than the brakes were really designed for.

At the end of the day it's personal preference.
