underseal?

   whats the best one i can go and buy from a shop? as i have the day off tomorrow and i would like to get this done? thanks i have heard hammerite is good but has a way of rusting again in a year or two?
   
   and whats the best method? wirebrush on the drill? and sandpaper?

   wen i unedsealed the rear of mine i used a wire brush on a brill to remove all the surface rust, and get rid of any
   and i cant remeber the make of underseal but it was very very thick and nothing is going get though with the amount i put on

   haha that sounds like a plan i was just thinking about using like 3 coats of waxoyl lol

   thats also good stuff
   but just remember to remove all the rust otherwise it will come back

   yea thats the bad bit! lol im hoping the wire brush i have will remove it all! i may buy some sand paper aswell
   
   do you think its worth using a product like krust? to convert any rust i cant remove into something hard thats not rust?

   most rust will come off pal
   yeah get some abrasive paper on there, 80 grit
   if you wanna get everything off, use a shot blaster dont know how much they are though

   use u- pol gravi tex its a ruberized underseal with zink fosfate to stop rust and everything bounces off it you can get a 1 ltr bottle for about 12 quid enuff to do the car 2wice i did my ek9 4 years ago and its still perfect with no rust coming through. can get it from any motor factor.
