Gearbox/Clutch Problem.. :( Help

    Right, So when i got my 2002 plate 1.1 desire back in january i noticed i had a pretty high clutch, my mate whos a mechanic blamed it on being french so i ignored it. Since then its got a bit worse where it doesnt always bite properly, causing lame stalls, so i was thinking off it getting replaced but now ive noticed my gearbox is pretty clunky and is a nightmare to get it in reverse, will the lot need replacing and if so was the bad clutch the reason my gearbox is going crap.
    Or is there anything i can do to improve the clutch? sorry bit of a newbie to this sorta stuff

    sounds very much like clutch is about worn out tbh, get a new clutch fitted. if you adjust it anymore to try and get the gears to engage smoothly the pedal will just get higher

    As above £190 all inclusive if you need one done, with a Genuine valeo clutch.
