Im trying to get my temp gauge to work and its really wierd. VTS engine, VTS clocks, 1.1 car
the 2 plugs, green + blue, i have been told are temp sensor stuff?
I taped into each individual wire that comes off them, and fed it directly up to dashboard clocks. I fed cable to the black connector, pin hole number 2 (i looked @ wiring diagram and think this is where it should go?)
Green plug has a red and green cable
Blue plug simply has a green only
When i taped into Green plug Red, the car hated it. Temp warning light came on, Difficult to start, backfired, spitted, farted and generaly everything else
Tapping into Blue plug Green, it just made the car rev like hell iratically
However, when i taped into Green plug Green, car ran normal but the temp gauge shot all the way up and down 3 times then didnt work
well confused.
All i want is a temp reading and this is starting to make me go bald with stress
Please can anybody help and tell me what im doing wrong?
