if yours still has the plugs under the seats, unplug them (ignition off!) and see that they're not corroded. some buggers spliced mine and done a shit job of reconnecting them so it comes on and off every now and then!

Mine has started flashing occasionally. Usually after an enthusiastic drive or hitting a pot hole etc.

Is there a difference between it flashing and been on constantly? Do they mean different things?

The airbag light was How I found Saxp

The light will flash when you start the car, and within say 5 minutes or so will stop flashing and will stay lit up.

Under both the passenger and Driver seat is a (Normally) orange cable.
The quick solution is to trace this cable to the connection point under each seat and give both ends of the wire a push into the connection block.
Do this for both passenger and driver seat and you'll 9/10 fix the problem.

The issue with fixing the airbag light this way is it is only temporary. It WILL come lose again after a few seat adjustments or pot holes.

Best bet is to cut out that crappy connection block under each seat and solder (or join) the wires together instead. Problem solved
You can tell its a really easy fix if IM telling you how to sort it
