106 s1 immobiliser

   i did post this on rallye register and 106owners but no1 ever seems to get back to you on them forums (useless) anyways, i have a little n reg 106 aztec si that ive bought a 106 gti engine for, now what i was wondering is does it have an immobiliser if so wheres it located? i dont fancy locking the ecu... can anyone shed some light on this please you'd be really helping me out. cheers Lee

   Is it a numeric keypad immobilier or keyfob?

   neither mate, theres not a keypad or a key fob... it aint got central locking or anything lol

   look for a chip in the key. i dont think its got an immobiliser though
