VTS Power to weight gain figures

  1. #1
Standerd weight is around 935 kg? ( varys from site to site aparently)
    Standerd Bhp is around 120

So Power to weight is about 130bhp

well my vts has newman ph3 camshafts,
    BMC DIA,
Peco backbox ( wont make a difference to bhp but owell)
    and has had a remap

also i have striped about 100kg out of the car so what bhp to weight ratio do you think im lookin at?

Possibly 160 or a little bit more? Surely you could work it out more accurately yourself

has anyone got a similar set up bhp figure and then ill work out the weight....
to skint just now to get it on the dyno

ye i know that i use it often, but i dont know the bhp of the car does anyone have a similar setup and had it on the dyno, could do with a ruff ballpark figure

140-145 ish bhp, maybe MAX 150, at a very max though it be in the 140-150.

depend on the cam setup and map.

well i know its got the newmans phase3s in it and a really good map, dier when ur out of the revs but when u hit powerband you get a nice pulling powercurve rite up to 8k
  9. #9
who set the rev limit to 8K? that not needed as the power would off drop off by then more than likly, also hydro followers will start to fail going to that sort of revs.

like i said would say 140-145

nope deffinatly pulls rite up to the limiter at 8,
must just be maped to that set up
