I've been following all the engine stuff, trying to stop my daughters car running like a bag of spanners- the right hand cylinder is not firing properly. I have so far changed:
    1. The Coil Pack
    2. The Spark plugs
    3. The injector on said cylinder.
And STILL the fecking thing won't fire properly on it. If I remove the injector lead, it runs just the same. I've reset the ECU, and done just about everything- carb cleaned the timing belt, whatever. What the HELL else could it be?

compression test the cylinder thats not firing

Yep id say its droppd the valve on that cylinder.
Do a wet and dry test and see if the compression alters.
If you get more compression with oil down the bore then its worn rings.
Does it burn / use any oil?

Found it in the end- its the tthe end of the coil pack that connect to the spark plugs, whatever they are called. One appears to not be firing properly. What part are they?
