PAS squeal

    Before i go and buy another PAS pump i just wan't to check that it isn't something else, being frugal. Anyway, when i start the car up there is quite a high pitched squeal that matches engine speed, so the PAS pump. And for the first few metres the steering is fighting against the system. IS this the pump seals going?

    my 206 does the exact same thing, but after around 3 seconds completely goes, but happens every time you start the car lol..i thought maybe the pumps seals were going to but i have no idea to be honest

    It doesn't bother me on the road, but i don't want to be hooning it through druids and the pump fail ploughing me into southbank lol
