wasnt sure if i should put this in this thread but here goes
are saxos prone too rust under front arches
like under ecu and fuse box?

yes very bad for it i need to weld my vts under the ecu before the mot

as saxspeed said front arches and boot area. my old vtr had a big hole underneath the ecu and had gone on the sill where it had been jacked up in the wrong place

bodyfiller is for hiding the corrosion hole, so the mot tester cant see it to fail it, welding is a fix, all be it temporary but it will last a fair few year's if its sealed properly

to be honest ur better cutting the rust out and welding a plate in, dosent take long
could easily fix a hole under ecu in less than half an hour, then rebuild it, no need to paint as u dont see it

ill wait too my friend who is a weilder will do it but tbh hes bit of a stich up soo donno when he will do it ha ah!

just cut the rust out, make a plate like a couple of cm overlap on the hole, grind or sand the metal back and then weld it with a mig on low current and voltage
