does a 4 branch mani make it much louder?

   depends whether you are decatting or not. If its like for like then there will be barely a difference.

   well because on vtrs the cats actually on the mani itself isnt it so yeah it will be de catting it

   Only on later VTRs, you need to make sure the mani clears the plastic filter housing, or alternatively convert it to a mk1 oil filter setup

   i got the janspeed 4-2-1 with sprts cat and even tho thats catt'd up its still nice and loud compared to standard system

    oh yeah i heard you have to move the oil filter.

    You dont always have to, it depends on which manifold you have and if it clears the plastic housing or not

    Don't hold me to either of those though, if you are going for one then it will be best to ask the supplier. Although tbh it isn't a major job to convert it to the mk1 setup

    my janspeed one doesn;t need anything relocating altho its a pain to fit!!! worth the ££££ price tag tho as no cat'in up come MOT time

    ive got a piper 4-1 manifold and that fits without moving the oil filter
