temperature needle ?

   when i put my ignition on my car evan if i put it on while car has sat there all night out, the temperature needle rises up abit and just wondered if anyone knows how to sort it ? needing a new sensor maybe ? where about is it located ? thanks adam also when my car gets warm it sits around the 3/4 mark

   saxos do run hot mate mine is scary but has never gotten to the red mark... you could try a new sensor or just leave it imho dont replace what isnt broken

   Try taking the sensor off & clean the the contacts/or buy a new sensor.

   If I remember correctly its the Green 1 behind the thermostat housing as you look at the engine from the front its on the right hand side.Oh & you need a 19mm deep socket to remove it.

   id try changing sensor or put up with it

   thanks steve - il try give it a clean and if that dont work il just replace it- the temperature being dodgy and bugged me enough over the 2years ive had it lol
